She found fame starring on Riverdale and has since set her sights for larger audiences on the silver screen.

And while Lili Reinhart is still finding her niche in the ever-changing entertainment industry, she admitted to Allure that she’s ready to ‘fight’ for what she’s worth when it comes to equal pay.

The 23-year-old actress has taken on a slew of projects since her star-status began to rise on the popular CW show, something she tries to not take for granted.

Star power: Lili Reinhart admitted to Allure that she’s ready to ‘fight’ for what she’s worth when it comes to equal pay

Lili stars as Betty Cooper on the massively successful television series that began in 2017, a role that has helped her gain confidence personally and professionally.

‘I do know the value that I bring as someone who attracts an audience,’ she admitted. ‘And I’m not going to accept less than what I think I’m worth. And it’s okay to fight for what I’m worth.’

She said that fighting for equal pay is something she and ‘Cami have had to deal with’ on the Riverdale set, alluding to her co-star Camila Mendes.

‘Going into projects in the future, I’m much more aware of it,’ Reinhart said. ‘So is my lawyer.’

Lili credited Michelle Williams and Taraji P. Henson for inspiring her to become a strong advocate for herself and her career.

‘I was taking notes,’ she said. ‘Taraji Henson had said something like, when she renegotiated for Empire, she knew her value to the show. She knew what that value was, and she demanded it.’

'I do know the value that I bring as someone who attracts an audience,' she admitted. 'And I'm not going to accept less than what I think I'm worth. And it's okay to fight for what I'm worth'

'I always knew this is what I was going to do. I never had a plan B,' she said. ''Three and a half years ago, I had no money. I didn't have a love in my life like I do now'

Finding her place in the entertainment industry didn’t come easy and Lili has put in the work to be self reliant and confident.

‘I always knew this is what I was going to do. I never had a plan B,’ she said. ”Three and a half years ago, I had no money. I didn’t have a love in my life like I do now.’

‘I didn’t have any sort of confidence that I was on the right track, and now I have those things.’

While fame has found a way into Lili’s life, she’s still not entirely comfortable being spotted out in public.

‘It’s so weird. I don’t really think about it until I’m around people,’ she said of her star status. ‘I don’t think about it until I see young women, because those are the people that recognize me. Then all of a sudden, I become very aware.’
