What a profit! David Warner sells one of his Maroubra investment properties for ‘record price’ just three years after snapping it up for $1million

David Warner has sold one of his investment properties in Maroubra, Sydney.

The 33-year-old secured ‘around $1,250,000 in an off-market sale’ for his two bedroom unit on Hereward Street, according to The Sunday Telegraph. 

He purchased the apartment for $1,023,000 in 2017, making a profit of around $227,000 on the investment in as little as three years.

The newspaper reported that the sale was a ‘record price’ for the Hereward Street block of eight units in the beachside suburb. 

During his three years as landlord, David rented the unit out for $700-a-week.

The property has two bedrooms, an expansive open plan living and dining area, and bathroom with internal laundry facilities.

It was sold off-market by estate agent Josh Ellison of Ellison Zulian Property, with David even taking to Instagram to praise the ‘seamless sale’. 

The cricketer owns several investment properties in the beachside suburb.

He is currently residing in Maroubra himself with wife Candice and their adorable three daughters, Ivy Mae, Indi Rae and Isla Rose.

Their current Maroubra home is only temporary, as they continue building their multi-million dollar dream mansion just several streets away. 

The family purchased a $3.9million plot of land in the suburb in 2015, which they then started an estimated $4million renovation on in 2017. 

The huge build is still ongoing, and has faced several complaints from neighbours.
