In her discussion about the surgery, she said: ‘I had my ears pinned back. I wanted to since I was 10. My mum told me to wait…

When asked about the actual surgery, Amber said: ‘I was awake and they numb the area. You can smell it. It’s like a burning smell. It’s one week recovery and I had to have a bandage around my head for a week…

‘It’s uncomfortable, it starts to itch. I know you can get it on NHS but I did it privately. It can be between £1,500 to £3,000. It takes about 20 mins.

‘I’ve been lucky, I haven’t had any discomfort or pain. Getting your ears pinned back is more common that you think. when the anesthetic wears off it was the worst pain of my life. It’s worth it. I’m so much more confident.’

When asked if she’d had any other surgery, she said: ‘I haven’t had my nose or boobs done. After that I wouldn’t want anything else.’

During her post surgery videos last year, Amber tearfully detailed: ‘I’m in so much pain, because the anaesthetic has started wearing off a little bit.

‘So I can feel everything now, and it’s so painful. So, my mum’s come down to London to help me. As her mother brushes tears from her daughter’s cheek, Amber concludes: ‘But, yeah, hopefully it’ll be worth it.’
