Earthquake hits MELBOURNE: Victorian capital shakes with hundreds of locals reporting the tremor and hearing a ‘sonic boom’
Melbourne has been shaken by an earthquake compared to a ‘sonic boom’ which left homes shaking across the city’s east.
The epicentre of the magnitude 2.2 earthquake was near Pakenham, 60km south-east of the CBD, Geoscience Australia confirmed.
