A desperate search is underway for a missing teenager who vanished from South Brisbane before Christmas.

Police have asked the public for help to find Shannae, a 16-year-old girl from Spring Hill in Brisbane’s lively inner north, who went missing nearly three weeks ago.

Shannae vanished from South Brisbane on December 19 and was last seen at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Woolloongabba.

She is known to regularly visit the Brisbane CBD and Ipswich areas.

Police are worried for her safety as she is suffering from a medical condition.

They have already made ‘extensive inquiries’ to find her but she is still missing.  

Shannae is described as Caucasian, about 160cm tall with dyed red hair and brown eyes.
